DOTA 2 Razor Guide, Strategy & Builds. Razor is a hero with a wide variety of lightning-based attacks. Although somewhat fragile at the start of the battle, he can nonetheless be used effectively to push lanes and can be vitally important in team fights. His Static Link completes the circuit between himself and an enemy, stealing damage from the target and adding it to his own. His passive Unstable Current increases movement speed and deflects damage back at attackers. His ultimate weapon, Eye of the Storm, calls down the power of the storm upon his enemies, creating an area of effect in which lighting strikes randomly down on the heads of his foes. Razor’s most eye-catching ability though is also usually the first one he earns: Plasma Field. A great tool for intimidation and controlling the lanes, this ability expels a powerful ring of excited plasma that expands to envelope all units around Razor, dealing damage to enemy creeps and heroes alike.

Among the emblematic powers that populate the Underscape, Razor is one of the most feared. With his whip of lightning, he guards the Narrow Maze, that treacherous webwork of passages by which the souls of the dead are sorted according to their own innate intelligence, cunning and persistence. Drifting above the Maze, Razor looks down on the baffled souls below, and delivers jolts of scalding electricity that both punish and quicken the souls as they decide their own fates, hurrying on toward luminous exits or endlessly dark pits. Razor is the eternal embodiment of a dominating power, abstract and almost clinical in his application of power. Yet he has a lordly air that suggests he takes a sardonic satisfaction in his work. And one can detect a trace of disapproval when he tips his head toward the Overrealm, where his rival Zuus throws lightning about with far too much overt pleasure.

DOTA 2 Witch Doctor Guide, Strategy  & Builds. Witch Doctor is a fragile but deadly spellcaster with a unique method of eliminating his foes. His Maledict ability is feared by all, and has the potential for enormous amounts of damage. Heroes under the effect of Maledict will continue to take damage based on how much damage they have taken already. Using Paralyzing Casks, a clever Witch Doctor immobilizes his target, casts Maledict on them, then proceeds to cause as much damage as possible before they run. This is nearly always fatal if the Witch Doctor and his allies can injure the target a good amount after it is Maledicted. To aid in the destruction of his enemies, Witch Doctor can plant a potent Death Ward, which rapidly attacks nearby heroes as long as Witch Doctor channels it. Combined with Maledict and Paralyzing Cask, Death Ward is practically a guaranteed kill when ambushing an unsuspecting enemy hero. Voodoo Restoration turns him into a mobile healing fountain, quickly restoring the life of the Doctor and his allies in case an ambush doesn’t go according to plan. Although Witch Doctor’s Maledict combo is lethal on its own, it is even more dangerous when combined with allied attacks and spells.

DOTA 2 Weaver Guide, Strategy & Builds. Although Weaver may be fragile, he more than counters this weakness with constant bursts of speed and invisibility, along with the ability to periodically deal double damage on attack. He is the master of in, out, and back in. He sends out swarms of beetles which latch onto foes to damage and create chaos. The beetles also reduce his prey’s armor, making them vulnerable to team attacks. Finally, Weaver can Time Lapse into the recent past, returning him to the location, as well as to levels of health and mana, that he’d been at 5 seconds prior. Weaver is a paradox–quick and agile, extremely hard to kill due to Time Lapse, but also fragile if caught off guard.

DOTA 2 Viper Guide, Strategy & Builds. Viper is a kiting DPS assassin ranged carry that can dominate a lane aggressively in the hands of a good player but is vulnerable to stuns and reliant on positioning. His first skill is a quite damaging orb that, when used, coats his regular attack in poison which slows the enemy greatly and deals damage, but only lasts for a little bit of time. Using this skill, you can permanently kite an enemy hero as he will be slowed and take a lot of damage, but if you are stunned you will lose your positioning advantage. His second skill is a passive that gives him extra damage based on how hurt the unit that he is attacking is. This is useful for 1 on 1 situations as it adds up greatly and can even double his damage when heroes are especially low. It is also good for lasthitting as you attack creeps that are low on health anyways. His Ultimate is a medium cooldown nuke that deals a lot of damage over 5 seconds and slows the unit greatly, which is good to pair with his poison attack to single out heroes and kill them with ease.

The malevolent familiar of an underworld wizard who captured and ‘tamed’ him, Viper was curiously glad to have been sprung from the sealed and unchanging subterranean Nether Reaches where his race had lived for millions of years, after tectonic slippage had sealed them off in luminous caverns. He spent some time appearing to submit to the wizard’s enchainments, while learning what he could of dark magic. But he soon realized that few magics were as deadly as the toxins that were his birthright, so he casually stung the old mage to death, slipped free of his cage, and flapped out to get a look at the greater world.

DOTA 2 Venomancer Guide, Strategy & Builds. Venomancer is a hideous monstrosity who casts an assortment of toxins to bring down his enemies. He uses a fast Venomous Gale attack to project his poison at all enemies in a narrow path in front of him, slowing victims greatly and dealing damage over time. His attacks are coated with Poisonous Stingers that both slow and damage afflicted enemies. He can summon Plague Wards to do his bidding-deploying them either far out in front of him to scout, or in the heart of the bloody battle itself, to fight and weaken enemies. The wards can also be used to push and block off routes of attack or escape. His ultimate attack, Poison Nova, unleashes a potent toxin in a large ring around his body, infecting everyone it hits, dealing large damage, but over a long time. Though this toxin isn’t lethal, every other poison he carries is. He is exceptional at weakening enemies, and slowing them down so that they don’t stand a chance in team fights.

In Acid Jungles of Jidi Isle, poison runs in the veins and bubbles in the guts of every creature that scuttles, climbs or swoops between fluorescent vines dripping with caustic sap. Yet even in this toxic menagerie, Venomancer is acknowledged as the most venomous. An herbalist, his name long since forgotten, crossed the Bay of Fradj by coracle, searching for potent essences that might be extracted from bark and root, and found instead a nightmare transformation. Two leagues into Jidi’s jungle, the herbalist encountered a camouflaged reptile, which stung him and instantly died. In desperation, he used his partial knowledge of the jungle’s herbal bounty, mixing the venom of the dead creature with the nectar of an armored orchid, to compound an antidote. In the moments before black paralysis claimed him completely, he injected himself by orchid-thorn, and instantly fell into a coma. Seventeen years later, something stirred in the spot where had fallen, throwing off the years’ accumulation of humus: Venomancer. The herbalist’s mind was all but erased, and his flesh had been consumed and replaced by a new type of matter–one fusing the venom of the reptile with the poisonous integument of the orchid. Jidi’s Acid Jungles knew a new master, one before whom even the most vicious predators soon learned to bow or burrow for their lives. But the lurid isle proved too confining, and some hunger deep in the heart of the old herbalist drove Venomancer out in search of new poisons–and new victims.

DOTA 2 Tidehunter Guide, Strategy & Builds. A massive leviathan of incredible strength and toughness, Tidehunter is a real tank. Using his Gush skill, he can slow and damage a single target while reducing their armor, allowing him and his allies to pummel the target to a pulp. To aid his close combat skills, Tidehunter has a powerful Anchor Smash spell, which he can use to unleash a devastating area of effect spin attack. A target of Gush who is hit by an Anchor Smash or two is in deep trouble. To protect himself while chasing down and smashing enemies, Tidehunter has a passive: Kraken Shell. This ability reduces all damage from physical attacks by a set number, allowing the Leviathan to wade into combat without fear, ignoring the blows of lesser foes. Kraken Shell also occasionally dispels negative spell effects, making him even more difficult to stop. By far the most feared ability of the Tidehunter is Ravage. This mighty ability allows the Tidehunter to cause immense damage and stun all enemies in a large area around him. This ability is most effective in large team battles, where it is a simple matter to hit the entire enemy team at once with its writhing tentacles, setting up the Tidehunter and his allies for an easy victory.

DotA 2 Tidehunter Background Story:-
Tidehunter was once the champion of the Sunken Isles, but his motives are as mysterious as those of his people. We all know the importance of the Drylanders’ shipping lanes, how empires may rise and fall according to who controls the open water. Far less is known of the submarine lanes, and how the warring tribes of the Meranthic Disapora have carved out habitations through endless undersea skirmishes. In the fragile treaties between the Mer and Men, we can glimpse the extent of the drowned empires, but their politics appear complex and opaque. It would seem that Tidehunter tired of such petty strife, and set off on his own, loyal only to his abyssal god, Maelrawn the Tentacular. He stalks the shallows now in search of men or meranths who stray into his path, and with a particular loathing for Admiral Kunkka, who has long been his nemesis.

DOTA 2 Spectre Guide, Strategy & Builds. Spectre is complex melee fighter with a unique series of special attack skills. She’s able to Desolate opponents for pure damage if she catches them alone. She can also Disperse incoming damage, deflecting it into the area around her. She can hurl a Spectral Dagger at opponents, slowing and damaging enemies while at the same time allowing her to pass through material objects and travel across any terrain. Her ultimate weapon though, and the thing that sets her apart from all others, is her Haunt ability. She should be feared as a constant presence, being able to Haunt all enemy heroes on the battlefield at once, appearing out of nowhere to harass and confuse an entire enemy force, no matter where they are on the map. Haunt is a great strategy tool, as she can then take over one of her phantom images to physically enter a fight at the location that give her best advantage.

DOTA 2 Slardar Guard Guide, Strategy & Builds. Slardar is a powerful close-range stunner who depends on physical damage. He excels at chasing down fragile heroes and Bashing them into the dirt. Slithereen Crush and Bash allow him to stun and damage a target, then follow up with additional bashes to keep them stunned while he finishes them off. In order to get into close enough to use his stun skills, Slardar relies on Sprint. Sprint gives him a massive movement-speed bonus for a relatively long duration, but comes with the negative side effect of making him take extra damage from enemy attacks and spells. Slardar may find himself Sprinting right into a trap, with his increased vulnerability putting a sudden end to his pursuit. Amplify Damage allows Slardar to keep an eye on his target, while drastically reducing their armor, making them easy prey for his powerful attacks once he has chased them down. When faced with this dangerous hero, it’s best to keep as far away as possible.

DotA 2 Slardar Guard Background Story:-
Slardar is a creature of the Deep Ones, guardian of the great wealth of sunken cities and the ancient wealth buried there. In the lightless gulf of the great ocean abysses, he carries his lure-light with him through the secret treasure rooms, and submarine thieves (sent into the deeps by covetous dryland sorcerers) are drawn in by its friendly glow, never to return. He is utterly loyal, and his taciturn nature hides deep knowledge of the most secret places of the sea. He rises to the shallows in spite of the pain caused him by brightness, to commit reconnaissance, and make sure no one is conspiring against the depths. Because he has spent his whole life at great pressure, under tremendous weight of the sea, he is a creature of great power.

DOTA 2 Shadow Fiend Guide, Strategy & Builds. Shadow Fiend’s only defense lies in his superb offense. After every life he takes, he traps their soul to empower his attack damage with Necromastery. This allows him to amass high attack damage. His ultimate, Requiem of Souls, can summon these souls to inflict great damage on those enemies foolish enough to venture within reach. His unique Shadowraze allows him to blast opponents in small areas, at three separate distances. Another ability, Presence of the Dark Lord, makes enemies more vulnerable to physical damage, passively reducing their armor. Deadly from a number of distances, but vulnerable if caught off guard, Shadow Fiend’s positioning in battle is of utmost importance.

It is said that Shadow Fiend has the soul of a poet, and in fact he has thousands of them. Over the ages he has claimed the souls of poets, priests, emperors, beggars, slaves, philosophers, criminals and (naturally) heroes; no sort of soul escapes him. What he does with them is unknown. No one has ever peered into the Abysm whence Shadow Fiend reaches out like an eel from among astral rocks. Does he devour them one after another? Does he mount them along the halls of an eldritch temple, or pickle the souls in necromantic brine? Is he merely a puppet, pushed through the dimensional rift by a demonic puppeteer? Such is his evil, so intense his aura of darkness, that no rational mind may penetrate it. Of course, if you really want to know where the stolen souls go, there’s one sure way to find out: Add your soul to his collection.

Burrowstrike, his mainstay, damages and stuns targets in a line. In addition, when using this ability, the Sand King burrows to the target location which sets him up for additional attacks or spells. This can get him into trouble though, and to help evade counter attacks he uses Sand Storm. While active, this ability makes the Sand King invisible in the middle of a swirling storm of dust. Although he is unable to move while remaining invisible, nearby enemies will take damage as long as they remain in the storm. The Sand King can finish off groups off units with his Caustic Finale passive skill, which causes a deadly explosion every time he kills a unit with his physical attack. Epicenter, arguably Sand King’s most deadly ability, creates a pulsing earthquake centered on his location. When combined with Burrowstrike, this ability is often fatal to fragile heroes, and leaves tougher enemies wounded and limping for safety.

Sandking is a guardian of the Scintillant Waste, a vast desert whose shifting sands are alive and sentient. In outward appearance, Sandking resembles a huge arachnid, but his exoskeleton is a form of magic armor, forged by the Djinn of Qaldin. The armor is filled entirely with sentient sand, giving Sandking a solid appearance. In this form he strides the world beyond the desert, acting as warrior and sole ambassador of his kind.

DOTA 2 Pugna Guide, Strategy & Builds. Pugna is a fragile yet versatile spellcaster. Due to his massive intelligence gain per level, he has plenty of mana to cast his spells. Nether Blast is his primary method for dealing damage, and its large area of effect, high strength, and low cooldown make it good for harassing enemy heroes and killing creeps. In addition, Nether Blast also deals damage to towers, which makes Pugna a powerful sieging hero. Pugna’s Decrepify spell is us
eful in several ways. It functions as a decent slowing spell for catching fleeing enemies, and it also amplifies spell damage against the target. Decrepify and Nether Blast make a powerful combination. Decrepify can also be cast on allies, and since it prevents the target from being hit by physical attacks, it gives clever Pugna players a way to deal with potentially troublesome physical attacks by Decrepifying either enemy heroes (which prevents them from attacking), or allied heroes (which prevents them from being attacked). Decrepified enemies can still cast spells, but with Pugna’s Nether Ward placed nearby they will be struck by lightning whenever they use a skill. Finally, Pugna’s natural fragility is somewhat mediated by his Life Drain spell, which rapidly heals Pugna while dealing a lot of damage to his target. Pugna is especially effective at shutting down enemy spellcasters with his Nether Ward, but his versatility makes him good in any situation.

DotA 2 Pugna Background Story:-
A former resident of the Nether Reaches, where he had some familiarity with Viper, Pugna is a evil hellspawn mage who delights in all his sinister power. He sucks the life from his foes, savors it briefly, and spits it out. Nothing pleases him more than to throw down one of his Nether Wards and watch his enemies destroy themselves with their own magic.

DOTA 2 Pudge Guide, Strategy & Builds. Pudge is one of the most difficult heroes to play effectively, but also one of the most rewarding. His Meat Hook skill is extremely deadly, but difficult to master. A well placed Meat Hook will snag an enemy hero and drag them to Pudge, dealing damage along the way. Once the target has been hooked, Pudge can use his other two active skills to finish them off: Rot is a toggled Damage Over Time skill which affects all nearby enemies but also Pudge himself. (Pudge must be careful when using Rot, which can quickly drain his life and make him easy prey for enemies.) To stop his target from escaping or resisting, Pudge can use Dismember–a short-range skill that deals even more damage and completely immobilizes the target. When used in succession, these three skills make Pudge a dangerous opponent, although he may not look like much of a threat. To complement his risky maneuvers, Pudge enjoys a passive skill called Flesh Heap. Flesh Heap provides magic resistance, which reduces the damage he takes from rot, and adds a minor but permanent bonus to his strength every time he kills a unit.

In the Fields of Endless Carnage, far to the south of Quoidge, a corpulent figure works tirelessly through the night–dismembering, disembowelling, piling up the limbs and viscera of the Fallen that the battlefield might be clear by dawn. In this cursed realm, nothing can decay or decompose; no corpse may ever return to the earth from which it sprang, no matter how deep you dig the grave. Flocked by carrion birds who need him to cut their meals into beak-sized chunks, the Butcher hones his skills with blades that grow sharper the longer he uses them. Swish, swish, thunk. Flesh falls from the bone; tendons and ligaments part like wet paper. And while he always had a taste for the butchery, over the ages, Pudge has developed a taste for its byproduct as well. Starting with a gobbet of muscle here, a sip of blood there…before long he was thrusting his jaws deep into the toughest of torsos, like a dog gnawing at rags. Even those who are beyond fearing the Reaper, fear the Butcher.

DOTA 2 Necrolyte Guide,Strategy & Builds. Necrolyte is an unusual offensive spellcaster, since he has two passive skills and only one primary attack spell. However, this doesn’t stop him from being one of the strongest offensive spellcasters around. Necrolyte’s Death Pulse is his bread and butter. This powerful ability doubles as a damage spell and a healing spell, with both effects on every cast. Death Pulse hits all nearby heroes, causing damage to foes and healing both friends and Necrolyte himself. Since it has a short cooldown period, this spell can be cast very often, providing constant harassment to enemies while keeping allies in top form. To fuel this barrage, Necrolyte has a passive skill named Sadist which replenishes some of his mana every time he kills a unit. To further weaken his enemies, his powerful Hearstopper Aura slowly drains the life of all foes in a large area of effect around Necrolyte. When he sees a sufficiently injured enemy hero, Necrolyte uses Reaper’s Scythe, which is arguably the best spell in the game for killing off damaged heroes. This deadly spell deals damage based on how much life the target is missing, so even the toughest heroes die as a fast as the fragile ones. A strong Necrolyte is nearly impossible to defeat, releasing constant Death Pulses and draining enemies’ lives with Heartstopper Aura until they are finished.

DotA 2 Necrolyte Background Story:-

In a time of great plague, an obscure monk of dark inclinations found himself promoted to the rank of Cardinal by the swift death of all his superiors. While others of the order went out to succor the ill, the newly ordained cardinal secluded himself within the Cathedral of Rumusque, busily scheming to acquire the property of dying nobles, promising them spiritual rewards if they signed over their terrestrial domains. As the plague receded to a few stubborn pockets, his behavior came to the attention of the greater order, which found him guilty of heresy and sentenced him to serve in the plague ward, ensorcelled with spells that would ensure him a slow and lingering illness. But they had not counted on his natural immunity. He caught the pox, but instead of dying, found it feeding his power, transforming him into a veritable plague-mage, a Pope of Pestilence. Proclaiming himself Necrolyte, he travels the world, spreading plague wherever he goes.

DOTA 2 Lion Guide, Strategy & Builds. Lion is a strong offensive spellcaster with excellent disabling capabilities. Although his primary attack spell, Spike, deals relatively low damage, it has a long stun and can hit multiple targets easily. Its low damage is more than compensated for by Lion’s Finger of Death, which deals very high damage to a single enemy target. Finger of Death is an excellent finishing spell for injured enemies. Although Spike alone is a good disabling spell, Lion has a second strong disable: Hex. Hex can transform an enemy hero into a critter for a few seconds, allowing Lion and his allies time to finish them off. Lion’s spells all cost quite a bit of mana, but he can quickly regain it using Mana Drain. This spell is effective for draining an enemy hero’s mana, or giving Lion a quick mana boost from a ranged creep. This hero is a good choice for newer players, but at the same time he is fragile and must walk a fine line between caution and aggression to emerge victorious.

DotA 2 Lion Background Story:-
Once a powerful sorcerer, Lion earned fame among his brethren for fighting on the side of light and righteousness. But adulation corrupts. With powers surpassed only by his ambition, the mage was seduced by a demon and turned to evil, trading his soul for prestige. After committing horrible crimes that marred his soul, he was abandoned. The demon betrayed him, striking better deals with his enemies. Such was Lion’s rage that he followed the demon back to hell and slew it, ripping it limb from limb, taking its demonic hand for his own. However, such daemonoplasty comes at a cost. Lion was transfigured by the process, his appearance mutated, his body transformed until he became something unrecognizable, a creature with no name. He rose from hell rage incarnate, slaying his enemies and laying waste to the lands where he had once been so adored.

Night Stalker’s passive Hunter in the Night increases his movement and attack speed at night, making him a feared ganker and chaser whenever the sun is down. His Void spell damages a target and slows them to a crawl, allowing Night Stalker and his allies to deal great amounts of damage. Crippling Fear is a powerful weapon against spellcasters and fighters alike, as it both silences enemies and increases the chance that their physical attacks will miss the target. It is said that you have little to fear from Night Stalker when the sun is high–however, his ultimate ability, Darkness, allows him to instantly turn day into night (or prolong the night that has already fallen), giving his other spells their fullest effect.

DOTA 2 Lich Guide, Strategy & Builds. Mighty Lich is one of the best heroes at controlling a lane, thanks to his Frost Nova and Sacrifice spells. Frost Blast is a strong nuke that slows its target, giving Lich a good harassment tool. Repeatedly casting Frost Blast and harassing with physical attacks is a surefire way to quickly bring an enemy hero to his knees. However, Frost Blast becomes even more dangerous when coupled with Sacrifice. This spell allows Lich to destroy an allied creep and gain mana based on its life. Using this spell helps Lich by giving him limitless mana for Frost Blast, and hinders his enemies by denying them the experience or gold they would have gained from the destroyed creep. By using Frost Blast and Sacrifice liberally, the Lich can quickly force any opponent to retreat from his lane. Later in the game Lich tends to slide into a support role, using his Ice Armor spell to buff the survivability of his allies, and deploying his devastating Chain Frost to damage his foes in team battles.

DotA 2 Lich Background Story:-
There is peace in death. A peace stolen from Lich on the night he was forcibly risen from his frozen grave to serve the powerful magician Anhil. But Anhil chose his dead-servant poorly. Perhaps it was a side-effect of having been buried long years in the permafrost of the frozen North, rather than in a rotting ground; or perhaps it was simply the strength of Lich’s unusual will, a flowering of outrage at his ruptured repose… but Lich was not so obedient as the magician hoped. Lich slew his new master on the night of his own undead rebirth. Now, still a dead-servant, he has became his own master, a thing unheard of in all the learning of men. He is a walker between the worlds–no longer alive, but not quite dead. Drawing power from the cold of his own arctic grave, he condenses ice from moisture in the air. It is an old, cold magic, the conjury of the killing frost.

DOTA 2 Leshrac Guide, Strategy & Builds. Leshrac’s four skills all focus on dealing a lot of damage to his enemies in a variety of ways. He is one of the most powerful direct damage spellcasters, and his spells can even out-damage pumped up physical attack heroes late in the game. Split Earth is an area of effect stun. Although new players will find it can be difficult to hit, it has a relatively low cooldown and is sure to cause a lot of pain if it does connect. Diabolic Edict is an extremely effective spell if used well, causing a huge amount of damage if it hits a single enemy hero for its entire duration. Since it deals physical damage, it is excellent at destroying buildings and fighting magic immune heroes. Lightning Storm is a straightforward spell, but since the cooldown period is only 6 seconds long, it is one of the best harassment spells around. In addition, each bounce deals full damage, allowing clever Leshrac players to hit foes from very long range by targeting creeps and letting the lightning bounce to the intended victim. Pulse Nova is Leshrac’s final offensive spell, and can potentially deal the most damage of any of his abilities. Although it costs huge amounts of mana to sustain, the damage output of this spell is very high, especially in large battles where it can hit many targets at once.

Leshrac the Malicious once was a benevolent member of the Natural Order. A wise druid who protected his forest, Leshrac was slain when the first invasion by the Purgers of the Realm invaded. Despite his death, the soul of Leshrac lived on; however, he became horribly corrupt, and his love for nature became hatred, as he lost all that he had lived to protect. Sometimes known as the Tormented Soul and the Guardian of Impurities, Leshrac seeks only to take from others what was taken from him.

DOTA 2 Faceless Void Guide, Strategy & Builds

DOTA 2 Faceless Void Guide,  Strategy & Builds. Faceless Void is a master of time and space, often bending it to his will. He can Time Walk short distances, effectively jumping forward to a new location while slowing the movement speed of enemies near his destination point. This allows him to both surprise attack more effectively and escape situations where other heroes would be doomed. He is also able to passively revert quickly to a past moment to avoid damage, and to stun enemies by locking time on them so he can bash them without missing a beat. For his ultimate weapon, Faceless Void can create a Chronosphere in space time that halts all units inside it, except for himself. This can sometimes trap allied heroes as well, but deals no damage. Once his enemies are immobilized, he can then wreak havoc as he pleases. While he is initially weak, you should never underestimate a hero with great damage potential that also has the ability to stop time. Never.

DotA 2 Faceless Void Background Story:-
Faceless Void is a visitor from Claszureme, a realm outside of time. It remains a mystery why this being from another dimension believes the struggle for the Nemesis Stones is worth entering our physical plane, but apparently an upset in the balance of power on the battlefield of Dota has repercussions in adjacent dimensions. Time means nothing to him, except as a way to thwart his foes and aid his allies. His long-view of the cosmos has given him a remote, disconnected quality, although in battle he is quite capable of making it personal.

DOTA 2 Enigma Guide,Strategy & Builds. Enigma change the course of a game with the cast of a single spell, but he is also an excellent support hero. Malefice is a unique stun, hitting a target swiftly several times instead of all at once. Ideal for running down enemy heroes, it also interrupts channeling for those spellcasters who rely on it. For sheer damage, Enigma relies on Conversion, which transforms a target creep into three Eidolons which multiply as they attack. Conversion can also be cast on neutral creeps–perfect for ambushes. Enigma’s ultimate power, Black Hole, is a powerful channeling spell. Enemies caught in its horizon are disabled and dragged inevitably toward its deadly center, where Enigma’s allies can concentrate their attacks. Enigma can add to the pain with Midnight Pulse, an Area of Effect spell that causes repeated damage based on the target’s maximum life. Powerful alone, Enigma is strongest when supported by allies with strong Area of Effect spells, since they can take the greatest advantage of Black Hole.

In truth, Enigma is a mystery for whom the only true biography is description: he is a universal force, a consumer of worlds. He is a being of the void, at times corporeal, other times ethereal. A beast between the planes. There are stories that say he was once a great alchemist who tried to unlock the secrets of the universe and was cursed for his arrogance. Other legends tell that he is an ancient being of strange gravity, the abyss personified—a twisted voice from out the original darkness, before the first light in the universe. And there are older legends that say he is the first collapsed star, a black hole grown complicated and sentient—his motivations unknowable, his power inexorable, a force of destruction unleashed upon existence itself.

DOTA 2 Doom Bringer Guide, Strategy & Builds. The mighty Doom Bringer is a versatile and dangerous foe. His offensive spells are very damaging. LVL? Death allows him to pick off heroes at range, dealing extra damage against heroes of certain levels. The dreaded Doom is one of the most feared spells in the game, and with good reason. Not only does it deal massive Damage Over Time to its target, it also silences them completely for the duration. Although Doom Bringer is no pushover in physical combat, he lacks any dedicated fighting abilities. Instead, he uses Devour to take on the abilities of the creeps he ingests, and buffs his movement and attack speed with Scorched Earth. With his good income, strong damage spells, and the ability to effectively knock a single enemy hero out of a fight, Doom Bringer is a formidable opponent in any matchup.

A towering being of unimaginable evil, the Doom Bringer marches the farthest reaches of the world in search of new and exciting ways to satisfy his taste for unrest and greed. Once a feared leader in the army of the Purgers of the Realm, Doom left his position as a comrade of fellow demonic warriors as he simply could not bear the thought of sharing the glory of pillaging and feats of destruction with other lowly demons. Despite no longer leading an army, Doom is a fearful foe in combat, possessing mastery of hellish magic and physical attacks – eventually, the world will belong to Doom.
